The river was slightly up , which made the trip perfect. What a day!!
Great place to floot the river and camp.
the road to the campsite was horrible. filled with potholes everywhere and water could not drain off. either take a beat up car or a 4 wheel drive. the attendants did not care about your personal kayak or canoe. if it was damaged they had the "oh well' attitude. they would rather you do it. one of the attendants wanted to leave one guys kayak and personal belongings there and make him ride back with the other group, then he would go back and get his stuff. I would not recommend this trip to anyone unless you are going on a one day trip and use their equipment. that way they can pull it up the steep back when your done and tear it up.
Did what they were supposed to do. Water was great, prices were fair, pickup and put in vehicles were on time.
Kelso Canoe rental and staff were very easy going and accommodating. The camp site is very clean with two sides having a river view. The gravel road to the campsite has not been maintain causing huge potholes. There is a canoe drop off and pick up right at the campsite and the staff will pick you up at the end of your float. Overall, we enjoyed the trip and will be returning.
