Prichard's Kelso, TN distillery is in an old school house. We were the only visitors when we stopped about an hour before they closed. We received a personal tour of the entire place, and then did a tasting. I recommend the Sweet Lucy — it is delicious. We bought Sweet Lucy, and Sweet Lucy Creme to take home. Everything we tasted was good. This was our 3rd stop on a tour of Tennessee whiskey distilleries. It was charming and intimate compared to the bigger places, and offered just as much on a smaller scale. Luckily, we are able to find Sweet Lucy locally, so we can enjoy Prichard's here at home.

Small private distillery. As for the operation, its size makes for a very small tour. Facilities are basic, with lots of reused items and rooms. Our guide Heather was really nice, and did the most with little to work on. Certainly not like the big distilleries, but worth the drive through some rural towns.

The tour of the distillery, along with the samples are free-I recommend the Sweet Lucifer. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was also a winery, cafe, and gift shop nearby, so it is a nice stop if your in the area.

Very good distillary, the drinks are super smooth and mot very bitter at all. The tour was really cool and intimate. Very good rums, sweet creams, and the vodka is water. Ended up spending 160 dollars and plan to go back very smooth. They were out of whiskies, but being such a small operation and having to wait for them to age, this was expected.

The guide is knowledgeable and engaging, and the products excellent.

A rare jewel amongst larger, InBev-owned distilleries. Housed in a former Great Depression-era school, this distillery punches far above its weight, with excellent whiskies and rum produced in the early American tradition.
